One of the biggest delusions within the evangelical community surrounds the issue of illegal immigration. Many are deluded in to believing that it is not a crime to break in to the United States. Those in the evangelical community, who are making money off the this criminal behavior, ignore the Gospel’s clear mandate that we are not to condone, or be enablers with sin.
However, they justify their actions by twisting the Gospel, by miss interpreting Matthew 22:39. They clearly are deluded by the propaganda placed in front of them. You can tell this when they respond to the questions about a person breaking into their homes.
They are ok with it being someone else’s problem. The feel morally justified by their willingness to say they are ok with it. They completely forget that they are being enablers with sinners.
The Ten Commandments are a simple set of commands given by God to Moses. Many Evangelicals try their hardest to keep them. However, they seem to think it is not ok for them to enforce them when dealing with others.
By not enforcing, or putting forth a great effort to live by the Ten Commandments, the evangelical community are guilty of the crimes that come with that complacency. They say they are against human trafficking, murder, theft, fornication, lying, and desiring what their neighbor possess, but they do not do anything to stop these practices being done by others. Let us look at five of the ten commandments that are being ignored.
Exo 20:13 “You shall not murder.
Exo 20:14 “You shall not commit adultery.
Exo 20:15 “You shall not steal.
Exo 20:16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Exo 20:17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”
If we are not to do these sins, what make you think that we are to promote these sins? If we are to make disciples of all people, what makes you think that you can promote sinful behaviors? By being enables, we are guilty of all the blood shed by the illegal, the lies they have to use to stay, the resources stollen, the children born to the unmarried, and the continual desire to illegally cross to obtain that which their neighbor has.
